What materials do you use, and are they safe?

I use a variety of exotic woods such as Central African zebra wood, Bolivian rose wood, and potentially soon Turkish olive wood. I love to use Walnut. I use Epodex Deep Cast Epoxy Resin, what I believe to be the highest quality and safest food-safe epoxy. I also use all food safe oils, colorants, and waxes. I believe these products to be the best products currently available.

Are the boards customizable?

All of the boards are fully unique and one of a kind. Meaning- that no two boards are the same. I have premade boards that can be found here on the website, but also there is a custom option. You may complete the form and I would love to make you a board of your choice. I have almost any color you would like, and can do custom engravings, initials, logos, last names, wedding gifts, anything you want! All boards come oiled and waxed, ready to be used.

How do I care for my board?

Always handwash.

Optional (but recommended):

Step 1: You can find mineral oil at Walmart for a few dollars. Use this at least once a year to keep the color. Soak the board in the oil overnight, the process works best if you wrap them in saran wrap while they dry. Wipe away excess when finished.

Step 2: Use either Walrus oil / odies wax / food-safe wax after the mineral oil process. Make sure to wax and buff the excess off the boards. Follow the instructions on the product.

*I can oil and wax boards sent back to me for a $30 service, recommend once a year

Can you cut on them?

They are not built as cutting boards, but you can cut on them. Just keep in mind, they are wood and can scratch.
