My Story

First of all, I am so glad you're here and I am honored to share my story with you. Let's jump in.

This all began with a little kid seeing dads come home with wood from Home Depot. What were they making? And how could they make something so unique and beautiful out of some 2x4's?
I remember having airsoft wars with my neighbors and brother. We would build forts out of the old wood in the garage, honestly anything we could find. I always wanted to learn how to work with wood.
But, growing up I didn't allow myself the space to be creative. Being creative was scary, and it was hard for me to be vulnerable in that way. I shy'd away from poetry, music, and making things.
This all changed when I was living in Fresno, California with 7 other guys that I had met doing international mission work with. I was broke, but I was filled with a burning desire to create something. This was the time my heart started coming alive again. I had decided to really follow Jesus and began to push through the fears surrounding creativity.

With little tools and no clue as to what I was doing, I got my hands on a few pieces of wood and attempted to fashion a mold. I got the creative itch, and realized I've actually always had it.

My first attempt was in Fresno, and the second was in Colorado where I made my first set of 4 boards, which I later finished in Norman, Oklahoma. I sold those boards and flew out to Kona, Hawaii where I made some more. Creating these boards became a resting place for me, I spent a lot of free time there and met with Jesus over something so similar to what he chose as a career path while he was still on this side of eternity: Carpentry.

Like Paul, who made and sold tents to fund his missionary journeys, I wanted to do something with my hands that the Lord could bless. This became a leap of faith for me. I decided to return to my mission base to travel and tell people about God for another year. Now I was able to co-create with God and fundraise for me to go back to Hawaii and to the Middle East to co-lead a team of missionaries.
Now I am back home in Colorado and it is time for me to sell them both locally and online. I am both excited and honored to bring these to you. I can't wait to see all of the parties and events these are used at. All the date nights, the picnics, I am so honored to create something beautiful that brings people together.

Thank you for being a part of this journey and God bless!
